Pavlov is too overlooked and is a great hero of mine. (paraphrased) ~ Clive Wynne, PhD Clive Wynne gave credit to Pavlov and his work on the physiology of digestion which led to the understanding of conditioned reflexes, the basis for classical conditioning as a method of learning/training. Later in life when Pavlov was asked about having a monument of him built, Pavlov said to make one of his dog instead, to honor all of its work and sacrifices. A monument of the dog was made and its body was preserved and cased in the museum. *Despite the method Pavlov used working on dog, Ive always thought he was a man with brilliant ideas. We have to realize that all of todays knowledge are founded from the knowledge set by the great men and women of the past, no matter how controversial by todays standards some of their methods might have been.
