Pay It Forward! I had an overwhelming feeling to Bless someone yesterday and I did. My bonus daughter and I were in line for pretzels at Green Hills Mall yesterday and there was a young couple (maybe in there early 20s) behind us in line. Once our order was placed....I told the cashier to use my card to pay $10 worth of whatever the couple orders. Cashier: You want to do what?!?! Me: Yes....you heard me correctly! Cashier: Ive NEVER had anyone do this....are you sure?!?! Me: Yes....very sure. Cashier: Wow...ok (shrugs)! We got our pretzels and I got my card back and sat down to eat. Bonus Daughter: Mom...that was awesome and so nice of you. I want to do that for someone one day. Pretzel Manager: (walked over to us) Maam, that was so nice of you. You just dont know....you made my day! We get so many mean and rude customers and what you did was unbelievable. We want you to have this $10 gift card. Thank you so much! The couple: (also walked over): Maam, thank you so much! But God! I never did this expecting for God to show/teach me something or to reward me. None of them could believe that I did that. I didnt do it....God did it!! You see....I love to help people, but when you have 4 children and this and that going on.....what extra money do you really have?!?! Well, God showed me that its not about the money , because I got it right back. It was about obedience and the lesson. I know what I received and I know what my bonus daughter received, because she told me: Mom....Now I understand what Nana was talking about last month.....when she was talking about FAVOR! I really didnt understand it until just now. I am in such a good mood now I dont know what the couple learned, but God knows. Maybe, they never had a positive interaction with people that look like me. I didnt write this to brag....I wrote this for whomever needed to read this today and to encourage everyone to Pay it forward!
