Paying tax is the responsibility of every company, regardless of the country they operate in. Tax evasion is a crime. However, every person has the right to use any legal means at their disposal to reduce the amount of tax they are required to pay. There are many ways of going about this, but we would like to focus on just one, which is one of the most attractive at the moment, as well as being applicable to citizens of any country, rather than being limited to Latvia nationals only. In Latvia, there is a type of company referred to as a Limited Liability Partnership, or LLP (SIA). A positive aspect is that the LLP(SIA) is in all respects a Latvian form of conducting business, meaning it is respected worldwide, and viewed with a high degree of trust. It should come as no surprise that conducting business with a Latvian company is far easier than with an offshore company.
