Peace, Anyone that knows me knows I am a diehard AI fan. I havent had a team since he left the league just that simple. NO ONE brought it on the dance floor like the Little Guy, he defied the odds every night. I still want him to get healthy and come back and at least do a farewell tour(year). One of the baddest Little Guys to ever touch the dance floor ever. He is certainly in line with Tiny Archibald and Isiah Thomas, he didnt win any chips but he won the respect for his fearlessness, tenacity, and talent. He has what many super stars today lack...that Killa Instinct. U cant teach it, it has to develop internally and be mastered within. Yet, after he left I found myself watching Derrick Rose and Kevin Durant. Gifted, Young, and HUMBLE. Both represent a breath of fresh air in a stale room. Rose has been plagued by injuries and unable to go, but KD hasnt stopped going or growing. Todays MVP Award is the culmination of allot of hard work, dedication and sacrifice. His speech if U havent seen it is a MUST SEE. He saluted his teammates individually, and he clarified that WestBrook is his right hand in their war for a title. Rose and KD say these words in almost every award they get We arent supposed to be here. They are so intune with their reality, history, and life experiences in POVERTY they know they are trully blessed. To be in full command of their self, their finances, and have the ABILITY to make sure their families NEVER know struggle another day thats a beautiful thing. Greatest Moment was KDs tribute to his Beautiful Mother. He said U put clothes on our back, kept us off the streets, went to bed hungry so we could eat, and always kept us safe and together....U are the real MVP. I already had a deep respect and appreciation for KD, he truly is one of the leagues finest players but even better than that....hes one of the Finest Human Beings to ever touch the planet.
