But they did not understand this saying, and it was concealed from them, so that they might not perceive it. Luke 9:43–45 ESV Jesus told His disciples what was coming but they did not understand it. They were convinced that Jesus was going to be the next king and deliver Israel from the Roman occupiers. Instead, He was handed over to the Romans and crucified, but resurrected Himself on the third day. They did not understand, but it worked out anyway. I had so many questions when I began talking to the Lord. I was confused about so many things, pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib, the millennium. I made charts and tried to fit the timeline together to make sense. In time the Lord told me: Son, you don’t need all the things to fit. Just allow your purpose and Mine to knit. It changed my outlook and life became much simpler. Know today that you do not need to worry about how all of this fits together. You do not have to understand it all. Just let your purpose align with God and let Him take care of the details. He has a better view up there than we do. If it matters He will tell you. Jesus loves you so much that He traded His life for yours! :)
