Peace, My Beautiful Mother called me and stated very clearly Dont let people INSULT and DEMEAN the same people we need to reach. That hurts the cause doesnt help it. I replied Yes Maam. If U examine MOST will post this morning and their ANGER will be directed at those that didnt engage the process, and we should be angry. Question though after your rant about whats wrong, whats your plan to make it right? Ill wait.....matter fact I wont, lets examine as Dr. King stated Why We Cant Wait. Dr. King stated its an axiom of social change that NO revolution can take place without the METHODOLOGY suited to the circumstances of that period. In essence we have to shape, mold, educate and empower the MINDSETS that will produce the change we need. My questions are always ROOTED in finding solutions to the question. WHY dont Trentonians VOTE? I spoke to no less than 200 people yesterday who honestly said they were confused and didnt know who to vote for. Our first lesson learned from yesterday and our horrible history with local politics the last 2 cycles is we CANNOT have 6-10 people running for office. Again, in Newark and Philadelphia which are 3 times the size of Trenton we have 2 candidates. In Trenton we have too many opportunists whom ultimately become DISTRACTIONS. U have people who know they cant win simply running to run. They do 2 things, they CONFUSE and FRAGMENT an already small voter base. We have to get back to 2 candidates so that people can examine, evaluate and NOT be distracted. Ill say it because I physically see it, when people are confused they sadly STAY HOME. Its not right but its real. This has about 5 parts to it, this is part 1. Long Posts LOSE people because of short attention spans, then we collectively LOSE from them NOT knowing.
