Peace, Powerful mental jewel served up by Pastor Dee today, I needed to hear it. He dealt with JEALOUSY and how it masters us internally and we dont even know it. He also exposed us to the reality that JEALOUSY sadly often comes from those we love. JEALOUSY is kryptonite to a RELATIONSHIP. It kills off the LIFE which is needed to build the LOVE in a relationship. JEALOUSY often always travels with its twin-PRIDE. We often cant see that we are jealous and then we compound it by NOT allowing ourselves admit we are wrong and begin the process of correction. Our internal JEALOUSY eats away at everything we see and often causes US to lose our ability to see things properly. Question was asked Why do men hate attending weddings? Often times AFTER the wedding women who have sat and seen the weeding unfold want and desire what they have just seen. They dont know it but JEALOUSY seeps in and they start to apply pressure to their mate to HAVE what they just viewed and now desire. The man usually folds to the pressure and makes a decision he isnt ready for, and the COUPLE havent built up to properly. TIME often exposes that they werent ready and what could have been built on, now is destroyed. This ISNT an attack on our women just a parallel to help US reflect on why we COLLECTIVELY fail. Ecclesiastes 4:4. I considered all toil and all achievement and saw it comes from RIVALVRY between man and man. This too is emptiness and chasing the wind. In essence JEALOUSY of another is like chasing the wind, U will NEVER catch it, and in the process of the chase U LOSE what U were birthed with.....your OWN individual greatness. Ill be taking time to examine my internal jealousy so that I can master it, willfully those reading this will do the same. Then WE grow as ONE. Peace!
