Peace loving Muslims and people of all faiths are welcome in Australia. However, hate preaching radicals and extremists of any religion have no place in Australia. It has to be #illridewithyou + zero tolerance of radicalism and jail+deportation for those who incite violence against innocents. Should be a one strike rule. The way we view radicals must also be for the potential they have to cause harm and deliver on their threats. Australia is too soft in this area. Just as fast as we rightfully protect the lives and well being of innocent Muslims, we should step up the fight against radicals and extremism. I want to read about some new arrests, jail time and deportations in the coming weeks, just as much as I want to hear all the goodwill stories protecting Muslims on public transport.
