Peace of The Lord with you , my brothers and sisters in Christ . I would like to inform you of a trip to Europe ( 4 countries ) planned for the summer. Please find below all the information. The date is August 1 to August 10 .. Poland - Czech Republic - Slovakia - Hungary 9 nights / 10 days Day 1:– Warsaw arrival • Upon arrival in Warsaw we meet our Arabic - speaking tour escort. (it depends on the flight’s time) • Check into your hotel. • Dinner at the hotel. • Overnight at the hotel in Warsaw. Day 2: – Warszawa • Breakfast at the hotel. • Then enjoy a full day tour of Warsaw including visits to the Cathedral of St. John, the Royal Castle (exterior visit), the Old Town Square, the Barbican and City Walls, and Zygmunt’s Column. • We will have some free time for independent lunch. • Then follow the Royal Route to Lazienki Park where we will see the Palace on the Water. • Free time for shopping. • Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Warsaw. Day 3: – Warsaw - Czestochowa – Krakow • Open buffet breakfast at the hotel. • Check out of the hotel. • Depart to Czestochowa - it is the most popular pilgrimage site in Poland. Here we will visit the Jasna Gora Monastery where we will see the Treasury, the Knight’s Hall, the Refectory and the Basilica of the Holy Cross and the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The highlight of our visit will be a viewing of the famous icon of the Black Madonna to which miraculous powers are attributed. • Lunch on your own. • Drive to Krakow. • Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Krakow. Day 4: – Krakow - Wieliczka • Breakfast at the hotel. • This morning we proceed to Wawel Hill to see the beautiful renaissance residences of Wawel Royal Castle. Continue to Krakows Old Town to see the main Market Square, the Church of St. Mary, Cloth Hall, City Hall Tower, Kanonicza Street where Pope John Paul II resided while living in Krakow and the Collegium Maius where he was a student. • 12:00 hear the call from the Mariacki Church – Hejnal – which has not been interrupted for over 500 years. • Visit the square and market place – 2nd largest in Europe after St Marks in Venice. • Lunch on your own. • After noon Continue to Wieliczka (E. Fee included) to visit Europe’s oldest salt mine which has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The mines are a unique place where many generations of Polish miners have created a world of underground chambers and decorated chapels carved out of salt including the famous Chapel of St. Kinga. • Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Krakow. Day 5: – Krakow – Lagiewniki – Wadowice - Krakow • Open buffet breakfast at the hotel. • This morning we will visit the Divine Mercy Shrine in Lagiewniki, where Saint Faustina, the Apostle of Divine Mercy, lived and died. Enjoy a guided tour of the shrine. • Lunch on your own. • Afternoon we will visit Wadowice the birthplace of Pope John Paul II and his childhood home which is now a museum (E. fee included) and the Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary where he was baptized • Dinner at the local restaurant in Krakow. • Overnight at the hotel in Krakow Day 6: - Krakow – Wrocław - Prague • Open buffet breakfast at the hotel. • Check out of the hotel. • Depart Krakow and drive to Prague. • En route, we stop at Wroclaw for a Panoramic tour with your tour escort is the largest city in western Poland Continue to Prague. • Arrive to Prague. • Check into the hotel. • 6:30 PM - Dinner at the Hotel • Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Prague.
