Peace reigns once again! Yes, the 2 newbies have settled in nicely, even if they reminded me last night they were puppies. I hear noises coming from the kitchen and living room. I get up from my desk, wander out to see whats going on .... surprise! Draco is elegantly sporting a spatula in his mouth banging it on the walls. The sneakier one of the two, Sidra, is standing up on her hind legs, calmly attempting to finish off the lasagna I had sitting on the counter for my dinner. They werent even embarrassed about their misadventure! No, I roar. They look at me calmly, as if saying, and just why not? I retrieve the spatula, I tell Miss Muff to get her feet and face off the counter and out of my dinner (or whats left of it) and they just gave me big smiles. Out, you little/big stinkers, out, out, out! There was a little of the lobster/crab lasagna left over for me, but not much. Everyone was good overnight in their designated areas. Everyones been perfectly charming out in the yard for play and poop time. Silence!! Even bossy old Gator is fine with them (hes 11 this year). They, on the other hand, love to investigate all vehicles, attempt to climb into them (Im guessing they love to ride in the car?). Ditto with the Big E who isnt fond of anything with testicles (dogs AND humans). It will be peaceful in Bouv world for about ..... maybe another year? Seems in my little planet boys are fine until they get a little older when all hell breaks loose and they only get to closely communicate with the females of the species. So -- today, Im grateful for a quiet house, Im grateful for another busy day, Im grateful for happy, happy Bouvlets and yes, Im grateful I really enjoy my own company, LOL! Must be an age thing ... time to do my own thing is very valuable! I appreciate each and every one of you!! Spring has sprung for sure! A very nice 80 degrees today!
