Peaches Geldof death made me think there. I sometimes feel, that because someones face is on the telly or a magazine or that they are famous that there some how different to us . The notion of fame and Todays obsession with celebrity, that people now want to be famous but they dont really know why or what that entails that we really think that the things we see are real when they are all smoke and mirrors. Constructed to confuse and sometimes purposely miss lead you. I know, even Facebook has it, people who think that because someone has a voice, or makes a video, or is followed that they are now some how - special -- and that they are now a separate entity. I say that from what I know from a person who despite peoples idea has never wanted to be famous, I loath the idea of it the word fame is so corrupt. I have always struggled with how i can be creative yet not pander to people or lose what I am despite daily voices telling this is what I should do and say. People ask me a lot how to become known and how to get likes, how I can make them popular This is such a terrible way of thinking. That now likes mean more to people than a real thought or something from the heart, people second guess every single word they say because they wonder if others will accept it, will it be popular, will they love me, will they follow, will they thumbs up. And then others simple say the most mean and evil things because they know also this will hit a nerve and people will jump on it. There is a difference remember from observations on life, humor, and creating an act and using the world and fragments of stereotypical themes and images for its cause....but its when people really start to live in there own hate and greed and ego, that they are better that things start to get messed up. WE NEED TO OPEN OUR EYES! TO THE UTTER JUNK WE ARE FORCE FED ON A DAILY BASIS. There will always be time for humor, to me that and imagination are more important than any other things in life. These kids are brought up on a diet of lies, there out there are starting to think that to become a better person to fit in that they have to be like that person on the telly or movie or magazine or vine videos and so act like that. And thus become a puppet sometimes we need to also open our eyes, illuminate the shadows to those who stand there, unseen, unheard, with just as much to say. Stop living your life hoping to please, stop being consumed by other voices. Even if you stand alone, even if you lose the so called friends you gathered or no one will ever understand your meaning. Always be true to yourself. I think there is many many on here who will admit thats not always the case. So to the ones called freaks, losers, weirdos, and different, just remember that every single person who made a difference to the world for the better, every single one of them, was shunned by society and only in doing it there way did they then change others perception of what is right
