Peanut butter is actually pretty healthy...without the sugars and hydrogenated fats. We thought this video on making your own was genius because it uses just 2 things (peanuts & a food processor)...and because its by these young girls! If they can do it, and are already owning their nutrition, health and food choices, whats our excuse, right? :) liveitupgirls.wordpress/2012/08/30/how-to-make-homemade-peanut-butter/ NOTE: IF youd like to add a sweetener we recommend adding coconut sugar, brown sugar or even stevia over agave. Agave is VERY high in fructose (much higher than high-fructose corn syrup, even) and processed, and worse for your body than HFCS. Coconut sugar isnt a miracle food (you still need real food) but it is a low glycemic index sugar that also has other nutrients that most sugars dont provide.
