Pogs were a childrens game phenomenon of the 1990s in which you played for the small game pieces. They became one of the hottest collectibles of the period. Charles Schulz was a master illustrator whose PEANUTSTM comic strip Peanuts appeared in more than 2,600 newspapers in 75 countries. Schulz received the National Cartoonist Society Humor Comic Strip Award in 1962, and many many others; in 2001, President Clinton signed a bill to award Schulz the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest civilian honor the United States legislature can bestow.
