Pebbles the pig update day 18: His vet visited today and was very impressed at how good he looks! No fever, eating VERY well, left eye is no longer swollen, and most of his skin is looking really good (ears, face, tail & feet still have a way to go). The new big concern is his right front foot. All 4 of his feet are burned & ouchy & will be the slowest to heal but the right front foot was burned the worst: he lost both toe nails and the bone is very close to being exposed so, daily bandaging has now started. Fingers crossed we get through this next bump on the road to a full recovery. He is such a trooper & has the cutest expressions & a huge personality, We just LOVE this little pig!
