Peerzada for adequate supply of essential commodities in Anantnag on Shabi-Qadar, Idd-ul-Fitr ANANTNAG, AUGUST 03:- Minister for Hajj Auqaf, Public enterprises and Floriculture Mr. Peerzada Mohammad Syed today directed the district administration Anantnag to ensure hassle free supply of essential commodities on the eve of holi days of Shabi-Qadar and Idd-ul-Fitr. He also took a detailed review of the ongoing developmental works in Breng constituency at meeting held at Dak Banglow Anantnag. District Development Commissioner Anantnag Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone and all concerned district officers and engineers were present in the meeting. All the developmental works of PHE, PDD and other allied sectors were discussed threadbare and the bottlenecks confronting different schemes were sorted out on the spot. Minister released an amount of Rs. 10 lacs on spot for procuring water pipes to be utilized by PHE department for providing drinking water facility wherever necessary in the Breng constituency. He urged the Irrigation authorities to formulate a roster for irrigating paddy fields in consultation with set water committees, SHO and concerned Tehsildar. Minister urged the authorities for strictly adhering to the roster so that no law and order problem arises. Minister urged the CAPD officers for making available the essential commodities and LPG to all ration card holders and the uncovered families. Minister urged upon the officers to take special note of backward and hilly areas keeping in view the coming sacred days. He also directed to intensify market checking for preventing hoar trading besides urging PDD officials to provide uninterrupted electric supply. Minister directed the health officers to arrange for better medical facilities at far flung and hilly areas otherwise defaulters will have to face music of the authorities. Minister also directed the Executive officers of Municipalities to ensure cleanliness in and around the mosques and Idd-Gahs besides streets and main markets. Besides others S. P. Anantnag and Dy.
