Pegasus is currently conducting a survey of those who work in the arts/creative industry and those food/bar/events workers who serve and entertain tourists and residents to keep the creative community running. We believe this community is being negatively impacted by the rising rents, transportation, and affordability related issues in Austin. Responses to the survey will be used to generate a report on the subject to call attention to affordability issues in the creative industry, AND to encourage our city to pass the upcoming bond proposition this November. Our creatives and supporting industries keep Austin weird, hip, dancing, cultured, and happy. We feel we need to do more to support them to preserve our prized creative and cultural landscape.
