Peggy and I saw the movie, Son of God. If one is looking for things to criticize, there are a few. By and large, however, the film is faithful to the biblical story of the Word made flesh. The portrayal of the trials, abuse, crucifixion, and resurrection is especially gripping. I am deeply grateful to the producers, Roma Downey (who also plays Jesus mother Mary) and her husband Mark Burnett for their personal faith in the deity and Lordship of the Savior and the faithful presentation of the good news of His death and resurrection.
