#PelicanWaters – vegetation fire as at 4pm Multiple #QFES and #RFSQ crews are at the scene of a large vegetation fire in the vicinity of Mahogany Drive and Bells Creek Road, Pelican Waters. The fire, which is moving in a westerly direction, poses no threat to properties. Residents in the Pelican Waters, Bells Creek and Cochin Creek area will be affected by smoke. The Bruce Highway at Bells Creek will experience a smoke hazard and motorists are asked to drive to conditions. Residents are advised to keep their doors and windows closed and those who suffer from respiratory conditions are advised to keep their medications close by.
