Pending approval of the school board: The Connellsville Area CTC is tentatively holding a Car and Bike Show on May 9, 2014. We are using this event to showcase and promote Career and Technical Education as well as raise money for our students activities. We plan to hold a Drive for You event sponsored by Davies Ford. They will donate to us, $20 for each test drive taken by an attendee. We are also seeking sponsorships for trophies and door prizes so we can make vehicle entry free of charge. Our electronics program will provide DJ services and food will be available for purchase. There will be a 50/50 drawing and basket raffle to benefit our students involvement in SKILLS USA. Representatives from postsecondary education establishments will be on hand to answer questions about their particular schools. If you have an awesome ride or even a work in progress, we would like to have you show it off. I will post more as we continue to plan... we are considering selling vendor spaces as well (Im open to other ideas)
