Penelope Gilbert Ng will running 2 day workshop at Wallabadah on the 13th and 14th of July 2013. She is the President of the Australian Pastel Society. Penelope Gilbert – Ng is an artist and teacher. After graduating from art school in 1971 she exhibited regularly in Australia before relocating to New Guinea for 13 years to marry and raise a family, returning to Australia in 1986. From 1990 until 2000 she was a teacher at Brisbane TAFE. She is an experienced workshop tutor and has taught at TAFE A.C.E. Programs, The Brisbane Arts Academy and the Brisbane Institute of Art. She is a Fellow of the Royal Qld Art Society Inc and Master Pastellist of the Pastel Society of Australia. Currently she is President of the Royal Qld Art Society Inc. She has been a judge for the Beenleigh Rotary Awards; International Miniature Art Awards; Maleny Art Awards; Woodford Art Awards; Watercolour Society of Queensland; and the Royal Queensland Art Society.
