Pennsylvania DEP has proposed a public participation policy regarding permits. Those who have filed comments or thought about doing so, now have more time to weigh in. PADEP has extended the comment period through 5:00 pm, Tuesday, August 27. Members of the public, including Delaware Riverkeeper Network, brought to PADEP’s attention that the email address listed in the PA Bulletin was incorrect. DRN submitted an email comment to PADEP requesting that the 30 day comment period be extended to overcome numerous obstacles that worked against the public’s involvement.
