People always judge me, it seems, for my toy collecting. Like, - TopicsExpress

People always judge me, it seems, for my toy collecting. Like, they find out I still live with my mom, that Im into Power Rangers, and that Im an avid toy collector, and nine times out of ten, I can just see the expression change on their face. But see, Im not ashamed, at all. I do what I enjoy, and I enjoy collecting. Between the thrill of the hunt, and the amazement of when a new package comes in, the feeling is wonderful. Im not even ashamed of still living with my mother. Im only 19, I pay my share of the bills, and I watch my siblings so my mother can work. Everything works the way it is, no use in changing just yet. The best part is the obvious elephant in the room. Im 19 and my most watched TV series is Power Rangers, a kids show that originated in 1993. But see, I dont see how this is a problem when we live in a society where 40 year olds can watch My Little Pony. Just saying. I even one-uped it this past year and started watching the Japanese Super Sentai and Kamen Rider series and Im surely not ashamed. Ive had people confront me here on FB calling me a child, or how their children is more grown up than me because I watch PR. You know what I did? I laughed, then cut them out of my life. Dont try to convince me youre better than me because of what I enjoy, because I dont care. Alright, sorry for the venting, I just felt like blowing a little bit of steam. Lol
