People are always asking, whats the hang spot in the D! I got the scoop, tomorrow evening the hang spot is a partay with a purpose! I was raised by a dope village and tomorrow, WE ALL have an opportunity to be a part of our communitys village. My bestie puts in SWEAT EQUITY for the kids of Detroit. She inspires me to do more and step up my Mentoring game EVERYDAY! I know its NOT Christmas or Thanksgiving, like there is a law about only giving during these two holidays! LOL! And if a holiday makes people feel better about giving lets call tomorrow College Holiday! Come out, and hang with some good people who know how to have a fun time but understand building the community at the same time! M-1 RAIL construction is happening but downtown is still poppin, so come to my sister Jennifer Smiths Closing the Gap College Open House. Campus Martius Park tomorrow, Thursday, July 31 5:30 - 8:30 PM. What did you need for college? What are you purchasing for your kids for college? We need everything, so we can make sure our kids of Detroit are successful. Dont worry, you may be saying to yourself that you dont have time to go to Target to purchase dorm items, no worries, there is a CVS next to Campus Martius and they have gift cards for purchase, we will take those too! ;-) See you tomorrow FB Fam!
