People are asking me who Mario is? Mario is a child that I have been searching for for 10 years. WE are making a documentary and Mario represents thousands of children who are treated unjustly. Judges and social workers need to be held accountable when they return abused children back to their abusers. Mario was born in Ventura, California. When 18 was months old, he was beaten into a coma, put on life support and had to have brain surgery. The doctors didnt set his broken bones because they didnt think he would survive the surgery. He thrived for 2 1/2 years with a foster mother (who was a registered nurse and knew how to deal with brain injuries.) He also had night terrors about his abusers eyes. The biological mother, Guadalupe, went to jail for 8 months for beating Mario and after she was released from jail went back to Mexico. The mothers photo was put in the newspapers Most Wanted as a fugitive as having an active felony warrant for her arrest. Two weeks later, Unannounced, 3 social workers in a county vehicle picked up Mario from a Christmas party and drove him to the Tijuana, Mexico border and walked him across the border and handed him over to his biological mother - knowing full well of the felony warrant for child cruelty. Mario is an American Citizen and was denied his civil rights that both you and I enjoy. If it can happen to Mario, an American Citizen, it can happen to you.
