People are now reacting to the Noah movie. First, one thing that seems to be bothering some Christians is Noah being portrayed as a Vegan. Well, he was one. Until after the flood, God only permitted the eating of veggies. So, those of us who like a hamburger should be grateful for the Flood. However, thats not the point I was going to make. Why do we go to Biblical movies made by unbelievers and expect them to be accurate? Its not like these things were kept hidden. So, why go, spend 10 bucks a person on tickets and another 10 on gas, soda, popcorn or more just to see something you know you are going to hate? Not many movies on Biblical themes are very accurate. The Ten Commandments left out a couple of commandments. The Passion of the Christ, added some very marginal extra-biblical material and had the nails going into Jesus hands instead of his wrists. I saw a movie on Sodom and Gomarrah where Lot reads the children of Isreal out of Sodom across the red sea. There are exceptions, of course, The Day Christ Died, Jesus of Nazareth, The Bible series on teh History Channel from what I saw was fairly good, and a few more. But mostly dont expect Biblical accuracy from Hollywood.
