People are often asking me, if you dislike the CBS morning show so much, why do you watch it? Reason is, Where we live (the rural Eastern Shore), we subscribe to cheap cable. It only provides local TV stations and some stations from Baltimore & DC. No Fox News or alternative cable news sources. Therefore, were stuck with the best of the worst, as my digestive system surely cant take watching the local garbage. So, today: CBS has a news reader, Clarissa Ward filling in, for former country music DJ (now highly qualified, international journalist), Nora McDonald. Gail King (God help us), and Clarissa start criticizing actor, Steven Seagal. The guy has obviously aged and put on some pounds. I personally, have had a weight problem since conception, so how can I criticize? Ive often noticed, those most self conscious about their weight (thin or heavy), are the first to comment on others. So, they air a story about Seagal and how hes a buddy of Russias president, which I dont agree with. Otherwise, who cares? They show some pictures of Steven Segal and these two idiots start on Seagals weight. First off, lets face it Gail, youre a cow and close sister of the Oprah. Clarissa Ward (in case youve never seen her), is all skin and bones. Obviously, she idolizes Skeletor (character from He-Man cartoon). Other than all of this, NO ONE CARES about your worthless opinions. Shut the hell up. Journalist means: one who journals, makes note of, or reports on events. No commentary. Please stop re-defining our language. Another issue with the CBS morning show. There is a promotional ad running on CBS promoting this morning program which says: real news is back in the morning. Another CBS LIE.. Not that Ive accurately calculated it to the second, but Im guessing a third of every hour of the morning show is promotion of CBS entertainment programming or promoting books / authors, published by a subsidiary of CBS. Or, it is commemorating CBS programming history to help cement the CBS news integrity. These segments are NOT news. This morning, CBS considered NEWS as being a look back at Soul Train, and 10 minutes on what will become of various characters / actors on The Good Wife. Feed the Lie. The uneducated eat this up as news.
