People are often quick to say that its cowardice for someone to commit suicide. I never see it that way. It takes an unfathomable amount of hopelessness. The kind no amount of external love could bring you back from. I get it. I do. Ive spiraled, and I made attempts to end my life when I was much younger. Ive obviously always made it back. Im in a much better place now than a few months ago. My heart just breaks for Robin Williams last moments. I wish he couldve made it out of the fog and seen some light. Just enough so he didnt surrender to what he felt. My heart breaks for those who battle depression, those who push against that warm tide of sadness, and self-doubt. You feel youre alone, but youre far from it. There are many of us out there, sometimes feeling alone, right alongside you. Please try to hang in there, for yourself, to see what youll blossom into, for no one else.
