People are paid not to think. We are all rewarded for conformity to attitudes handed down from elites. Every employee is paid to follow instructions in every job, from WalMart Sales Associate to President of the US. Everyone follows orders, and thus obedience is normalized. Breaking through the propaganda is difficult because no one knows any differently. Everyone has a boss in the US. Think Outside the Boss. Thinking outside the boss is punishable. Well-adjusted Americans understand that independent thinking and observation is punished. We are a nation of sheep in the voting booth because were a nation of sheeple in all other cultural domains. Schoolteachers are the worst. By institutional filtering teachers are rolled off the teacher assembly line as a uniform product of the education system. They are incapable of observation and reflection. How could the state function without the obedience of the educators? How can we live with the preposterous notion that schoolteachers perform an important social task? The sole task of teachers is to produce compliant labor units with a diploma. Without compliant labor units the economic system would collapse.
