People are telling drivers to slow down in these icy conditions in urban areas to avoid collisions with people using crosswalks. Yes of course, take it slow. But the amount of times I see people crossing the road without even taking a glance with what it coming their way is just baffling. You cannot and should not put all of the pressure on the drivers, if people are too ignorant to look for oncoming traffic before crossing they should be at just as much fault as the driver. Its something weve been taught our wholes lives, look both ways before crossing the street. Cmon people, it isnt that hard.
