People ask me all the time why I am a Beachbody Coach and not just doing this on your own.: 1. As a Personal Trainer, gyms either take well over 50% of my income, or want me to pay a fee - which works out to over 50% of my income. As a contracted employee, this means I end up making less than minimum wage in most cases, after taxes. They also want me to train people for free to establish value... um... 2. I have a Masters Degree, several licenses and certifications, and a TON of student loan debt - I cant AFFORD to work for people who want more from me than I get from them. 3. As a Therapist, I have to do the same shuffle of building a client base, but I am limited to what the Board says about me and what insurance is willing to pay - if, sometimes, anything. Plus, I have to run the HR part of my business, which is a full time job. 4. As a Teacher, I am limited to what the school and Board want me to teach and how the parents think I should treat their kiddos... and most times definitely has NOTHING to do with the education. And, I am locked in to whatever pay is, by District. 5. As a Coach, I run my own business with a solid product that I use as a very good TOOL to help my clients get into shape: physically, mentally, educationally, and sometimes financially. I determine my own income with no ceiling and am able to not only work with people in person, but online in my virtual boot camps. I dont have inventory, but I use the programs as a solid scientific board of nutrition and workouts from which to train people. You are right - I dont HAVE to be a TBB Coach - but I have a ton of Trainers and Nutritionists as my colleagues, a billion dollar company and marketing behind me, so why would I NOT be a TBB Coach?
