People ask me how I became good friends with so many people around the US, Canada, Sweden, Germany, France, New Zealand and Australia. When I try to explain, a lot of people just don’t get it. But here’s a video of the person who deserves all the credit. Five years ago, Jessica Watson spent Christmas alone on her 34 foot sailboat near a point in the Pacific Ocean which is the furthest point on the planet from any land, known as Point Nemo, with four and a half months to go before she would see another human.
