People have been asking about the outcome of the colonoscopy. All clear on the lower forty, Im happy to say. The prep was worse than the actual procedure. A very nice Asian woman gave me some propofal (I know why Michael Jackson liked this stuff.....it was NICE) and I was OUT. When I woke up another woman was there for the recovery part. She gave me some juice and told me that IF I felt gassy is was because the doctor had blown some gas into my colon to stretch it out so he could see better and that I should feel free to pass this gas. I immediately let out a 5 second, 3 octave window rattler, that elicited a round of applause from Dr. and staff and got a lot of knowing nods from other men in the recovery room. They followed suit immediately. We recreated the camp fire scene from Blazing Saddles. Alls well that ends well.
