People my age I had their asses whooped with switches and belts but we now know corporal punishment teaches aggression and causes psychological harm. Is the terror a woman being beaten by a man any different from a child being beaten by a parent? Forget the excuse I did it because I loved them...NO, you did it because you were pissed off. Lets start with Westdale Jr Highs Mr McKay and Riverside Military Academys Col. Parker and their wooden board with holes. Anyone who has ever spanked a child with anything other than a simple swat with their hand needs to loose their job and spend time in jail.
