People of Imports@UCI, Im asking for your help. Earlier around 9:00 PM, someone in a red BMW X3 (looks pretty new) threw something at my car while driving on Jamboree towards the 405 entrance. License late number is 6ZMP563 (if I was to get it correctly). Heres the reason why: Im at the intersection on N. Carlson Ave, on the left turn lane for W. Michelson Dr. Theres 2 left turn lanes; I was on the outer (right) one, and theres a black Mercedes S class with black wheels on the left. Green light for the left turn, and I go. Suddenly, the Mercedes starts beeping at me like crazy, and hes starting to go into my lane instead of staying in his. I floored the gas pedal so he doesnt hit me, and good so far. However, he keeps beeping like crazy behind me, until were about to turn right on N. Jamboree. Ill admit, I took off pretty fast in order to get away from him, then he keeps beeping and passes me on my left side. Suddenly, I hear this loud bang on the left side of my car, and I see a red BMW X3 on my left with a bunch of guys inside, giving me this evil grin. They both took off, and I was able to read and remember the BMWs license plate before he went off to far. I pulled over right after the 405 South ramp (Im on my way home). Called the police to report it. I was scared, didnt know if something was damaged on my car, and was kinda freaking out. They came quickly, and I gave them the license plate number, told them what car it was, and told them what happened. Didnt find any major dents, but something might show up when theres sunlight tomorrow. Steve from Irvine PD was really helpful and understanding, and even asked me a bit about why Im majoring in Mechanical Engineering. But anyways, keep a lookout. Both cars had Asian teens (looked like rich International students, but I dont wanna jump to conclusions). Keep me posted if you see anything. Steve from Irvine PD said hell help out in any way he can, especially if I do find any damage on my car.
