People really have no idea what their pets will experience when they hand them over to the ACC, do they? Despite being told that their cat might be killed at the shelter, people continue to kid themselves that their cat will be one of the lucky ones, and just toss the cat out & go on with the rest of their lives. How callous is that? Rosie had lived with her former owner for all 3 years of her life, but that person decided it was far easier to move into a new place without taking this spayed beauty along. They told the ACC that Rosie is "friendly with strangers" but that is only in the comfort of a home setting; Rosie is utterly terrified of the strangers she has met at the ACC. Rosie earned a New Hope rating and can only be saved by an ACC-approved rescue group, tonight.
