People say your life can change in the blink of an eye. Well today mine almost ended in the blink of an eye. Ray and I were getting ready to go to town, I remembered I had not taken my morning meds and was in a hurry. I had to take five pills and an aspirin, so instead of taking time to take one at a time, I popped them all in my mouth at one time and took a drink of water. They lodged in my throat I tried to gag, I could not breathe, I was struggling, I managed to get to the family room where Ray was. He said when he looked at me I was turning purple. He panicked, saying what should I do, I was holding my throat, my whole body started to feel like electric current going through it. He grabbed me and hit me on the back several times. I was about at the end of my life, it was a horrible feeling. Then I said in my spirit Lord dont let me die. Ray the grabbed me around my chest and started pushing. Finally with all breath gone the pills went down. I could breathe some. It took me a good 10 minutes to get my regular breathing back. My arms ached, my chest hurt. I thank Jesus for saving me, I thank my husband for being there for me. I will never take a handful of pills again. If my husband had not been home, I probably would have died. Thank you Lord Jesus, it was just not my time. Ly all
