People tend to judge other people by projecting their own motives - TopicsExpress

People tend to judge other people by projecting their own motives on them. Hence, if they are driven by their own ego and selfishness, they tend to see other peoples motives as egoistic and selfish, even when your motive is to love people. On the other hand, good people tend to see goodness even where there isnt any goodness, and they often far too easily try to explain evil away in other peoples life. If you walk with God, your motives are bound to be misjudged by other people. In fact, Paul says, someone walking in the Spirit is rightly judged by no one. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?”But we have the mind of Christ.
