People using titles as names seem to be on the rise in Talenteng - TopicsExpress

People using titles as names seem to be on the rise in Talenteng and other areas, during the national identification registration in our district, I was at one station just to observe and a woman came to register with her voter ID and wanted to modify her name by adding Assemblyman to it because her husband is now the Assemblyman for their area, for example Rita Assemblyman (Note: this is not her real name) This woman might have taken a cue from many people who are using titles or names of offices as names, for instance,Naab and Tindan although sometimes Naab and Tindan can be real names , many people are using the title one,for instance your father becomes a Chief or Tindan and all of the sudden, you also change your name to Naab or Tindan, before your father became a Chief or Tindan,he was having his real name and after becoming a Chief or Tindan,he will adopt a title name. It is a fact that when someone becomes a Chief or Tindan, they drop their real names for title names and if you mention his real name to his hearing, you will be charged. So for those who are using their father’s offices names as their names,if they don’t want to use their fathers’ real names for fear of being charged, they can use their title names, why use offices names as your names? Does this mean that President Mahama’s childrens should modify their names by adding president to their names? For example, the current Chief of Baare, before he became a Chief,he was known as Sylvester Balagumyetime,if im not mistaking and after becoming a Chief,he is now known as Nyaakora-Mantii and no one dare call him Sly to his hearing (please no one should tell him I mentioned his real name somewhere,if you do that, you will be charged before me,thanks). If his Kids want to add their father’s name to their names, they can comfortably use Mantii, not Naab. Lets further assume that I become a Chief or Tindan and my title names are Koalembil-bookbazaa (small bottle got them all drunk) and Sookbilpeeh-bazaa (small broom sweeps all),nobody will call me Yin Bentil again because I will charge such a person but you can call me Bookbazaa or Peeh-bazaa and my kids can modify their names by adding one of these names but not Naab (Chief) or Tindan (owner of the land) I want to find out from the following people whether the names “Naab” and “Tindan” attached to their names are their real names or their fathers were/are Chiefs or Tindanas,Dominic Naab, David Naab,Naab Michael,Nimatu Naab, Naab Dan,Roland Naab Timbil,Michael Tindana etc Will it also sound nice if we begin to call these people this way,Dominic Chief, David Chief,Michael Chief,Nimatu Chief,Dan Chief,Roland Chief Timbil,Michael Owner Of The Land? If your father becomes a profesor, you will also add professor to your names etc?,I am just asking to know.
