People who dont understand how app permissions work shouldnt be allowed to have smartphones and access to downloadable apps. This tech expert is a idiot because permissions, which, guess what, you agree to when you install apps, are just an okay go for the app to use whatever hardware or software on your phone whenever you use a feature on an app that uses said permission. I would love for people who are pissing and moaning about messenger to look at the other social media apps they have, or any other app that isnt a wallpaper or something similar (which general doesnt require any permissions) and check the permissions they ask for and realize that almost all of them ask for the same ones. This was the same stupid dilemma on the iPhones App Store before they started allowing users to see the permissions and allow/disallow said permissions. These apps dont spy on you, or take videos of you, or read your text messages. If youre that afraid of someone violating your privacy then dont own a smartphone at all, and if you do, then dont bother using any data or wifi.tools...
