Per the US department of Labor, as of August 19, 2013, Rhode Island has the third highest unemployment rate in US. It is deplorable that the unemployment rate in communities of color, especially among African Americans, has consistently been almost double that of White Americans. This is SAD. Who has the fix? Several individuals are lining up to run for governor of RI. One can only wonder which candidate has the better plan for reviving the economy and put people to work. Let me know your thoughts friends.
