Perfection... Many times we get caught up in trying to be perfect. We worry what others will think if we are not perfect. We believe that we are not of any value if we did not do something perfectly. etc... We were taught this negative pattern of belief. You can not buy into it anymore. Come up with affirming thoughts that are more balanced than the ones above - addressing this obsession with perfection. For example: I do the best that I can do at every moment. I may not be perfect but I am learning as I go. No one is perfect and that is OK. I am good enough just as I am. I am a good person just as I am. Mistakes happen and that is OK - everyone makes mistakes. Accidents happen and that is OK - that is part of life etc... Look into a mirror and say these things to yourself as you really look into your eyes. Do this everyday for a couple of weeks and you will notice a huge difference in your life. You will be able to just go with the flow a little more and that is a sign you are releasing the need to be perfect.
