Performance Bicycle in Southlake TX provides a group ride leader for an intermediate to advanced ride on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Tue 03/11/14 through Thu 10/30/14. Ride details (route, distance & speed) are listed below Performance Bicycle also sponsors a beginner’s ride on Saturday at 8:00 AM. These rides are out and back for about an hour at a 12 to 14 mph pace. Call the store for more details if you are interested, 817-749-0373. You must sign a waiver the first time you ride with either of the groups and renew the waiver annually. Any member of the Grapevine Chain Gang is welcome arrange rides other than the normal Tue/Thu/Sat rides. These rides are not sponsored by Performance Bicycle and are at your own risk. Ride Location: Meet at the Golf Galaxy parking lot at Park Blvd & NW Highway in Grapevine. (2100 West Northwest Highway, Grapevine, TX 76051) Ride Route:strava/routes/148784 (A map is posted in the Photos area.) There will be two groups. The ‘A’ Group will ride at 19+ mph pace. The ‘B’ Group will aim for a 17+ mph pace but will not drop riders. Helmets and a rear blinky are required. A front white blinky is strongly encouraged. We ride with some traffic early in the ride so you should be a confident cyclist. We ride in the heat but cancel for rain or wet roads. Cancellations will be posted here.
