Hitherto, right from Independence, I just CAST my vote into the ballot box without any exercise of my mental faculties, to reason out my preference and went either by the tide or by my whimsical fancy for a particular affiliation. I just CAST ASIDE my vote. For once, awakened by my hibernating conscience, I felt the need to vote for a PARTY, than for an individual or ideology, considering the stakes involved in a NATIONAL REFERENDUM, and CASTING ASIDE, my prejudices and predilections, I exercised my RIGHT to vote conscientiously. I can now rest in peace, irrespective of the verdict either in favour or against , which is the essence of DEMOCRACY. LONG LIVE THE PHANTASY OF DEMOCRACY, an opiate to sustain our faith and hopes in this dreamland of BHARAT. ALICE IN WONDERLAND.
