Perhaps the only way out and up... ...If wed tax the wealthy and get their sequestered earnings into circulation - instead of allowing it to sit idle or to be wasted in derivative games - and start building infrastructure with it... roads, bridges, schools... then people and businesses would have income to support borrowing again, the banks would then have a place and reason to begin lending again, and more and more of the sequestered wealth would begin to flow back into the economy... and our wealth would shift from destructive derivative games to constructive investment in productive and profitable ventures... floating all boats higher Tax the wealthy... they wont even notice... (Go Patriots!)
