Perk me up – Best songs A-Z – Round 1 Today’s letter X …………………………..Yeesh how many songs have a word in them that starts with the letter X. There are some but not many. I’m gonna put one X in and then I’m retiring the letter X from Round 2. This would not make my best list normally for the next 5 years………but we are talking about the letter X here………….so……………………It’s a good decent pop song but normally it would have a hard time when faced with serious competition. Xanadu by Olivia Newton John and Electric Light Orchestra. Both artists are VERY good at what they do……………absolutely! THIS IS SUCH A SCMALTZY VIDEO – but hey, It’s “X”. “X” is officially retired. Hey, the movie’s not all that bad – it’s cool that Gene Kelly’s in in it, My opinion – considerably way better than Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band – how could such an AMAZING Beatles album have one of the worst scripts that ever existed for big budget Hollywood. It was so embarrassing to watch – but the entertainers almost make it worth your time – especially the Alice Cooper/Bee Gees version of Because – highlight of the film!
