Perplexed by missing training records? If you have taken any online (aka. e-Learning) classes make sure the correct BSA member ID is displayed in the Member Info section when you look at the Update My Profile link in your myscouting.org account. Many record keeping issues arise where a person has one BSA member ID as a member of a Unit (Pack, Troop, etc.) but a different, or missing, BSA member ID in their online myscouting.org account. Training reports are generated based from Unit membership records, not from myscouting.org account as anyone, BSA member or not, may have a myscouting.org account. myscouting.org accounts should not be shared; even within a family. This will ensure training records, membership information and contact details are unique to each individual. If you realize you have duplicate BSA member IDs, shared accounts or, perhaps, no BSA member ID listed in the Membership Info of your myscouting.org account send an email to [email protected] and someone will assist you. The blue BSA Membership Card which states Unit role has your BSA member ID as known to your Unit. If you no longer have your BSA Membership Card your Unit Committee Chair can assist you.
