Perpuating stereotypes and stigma, pop-culture media at its finest. Heres the problem: language communicates either the correct things, or incorrect assumptions (when misused). Antisocial=against (anti) community (social). Asocial=without community. These two words are not synonyms, they are quite divergent in thier meanings. An antisocial fears nothing and is quite grandiose and narcisstic. An asocial fears everything and everyone around them, and can be quite concerned about how they affect others (although they usually percieve their effect on other people, to be negative).
