Perrera update: I am now in discussions with the vet at El Paraiso. We are both pushing for the introduction of neutering facilities on site at the pound. We both agree this would be a huge step in improving the services on offer for these rescue dogs...and with our help through fundraising Last Chance Animal rescue would like to put in a castration plan for at least the male dogs in the pound during their stay...obviously would be reflected in the adoption costs...but this will hopefully prevent any unwanted pregnancies ocuring within the pound...It is still in the discussion stage...but both me and the vet think this would be a fabulous thing to be available.
