Personal empowerment finally occurs when we see its OK to let go of the need to control, arrange and/or manipulate peoples general perception of us. Because in reality what others think judmentally, has very little to with us...but more to do with what they still fear or wont accept within themselves. When people REQUIRE you to be something apart from what you are, they are essentially trying to force you to fit into their comfort zone and AGENDA. This kind of person tends to give little consideration as to whether or not they are making enough of an attempt to fit themselves into yours! Otherwise they would practice ample amounts of give and take, accept you the way you are or seek to try to encourage you to step into your better Self-as they seek to do the same. An emotionally well-adjusted person (who is in control of their own ego) will never move to quickly knock you down or automatically act as if you need to be dismissed and swept away... Be greatful when such a person steps out of your life. You have just been saved from having to expend a ton of energy trying to make them happy-which is never really going to happen! The big secret is...they dont want to be happy! No matter how much THEY SAY they do! They actually need and are addicted to the chronic unhappiness to keep themselves judgemental. Otherwise they dont know who they are or what they believe. They hold on to their judgements to keep themselves angry and riled up and this helps them to feel safe and falsely empowered. But in truth all they are doing is numbing and exhausting themselves and those around them, otherwise they start to feel vulnerable knowing it is time for them to change what their ego (lies to them them about) and tells them they dont have the power to make happen. >
