Personally, I dont have anything against him...as a person. If he were to start his messages with My name is Matt Foley, Im a motivational speaker. Im 35 years old and I live in a van down by the river, I could really get behind his work. Hes a killer motivational speaker, however, a proclaimer of the gospel of Christ he aint. Nowhere do I read its all about me being happy. I dont get it right all the time, nobody does, but I couldnt sleep at night if I told my folks that God just wanted them to be happy and then they came into my office because their whole world had crashed.
